China CPI –1.5% YoY for April & PPI –6.6% in April

• CPI in China were down –1.5% YoY in April vs. an expected –1.4% decline after the –1.2% decline in March and –1.6% in February.
• Food prices was down –1.3% YoY in April
• Non-food prices fell –1.5% in April

PPI

• PPI on the other hand decline –6.6% YoY in April vs. –6.3% expectations after a 6% annual fall in March and –4.5% in February.
