Commercial mortgage debt returns 13.2% in April

  • Stabilizing earnings and rising consumer confidence encouraged investors to take on lower-quality debt.
  • Analysts elsewhere have said CMBS may be the next shoe to drop as retail stores and business offices close, hurting the shopping-mall and office real estate markets.
  • This still needs to be watchful of.  I am still skeptical of the data considering the number of bankruptcies that’s been emerging such as General Growth properties mall operator.
